What is an Apprentice?

An Apprenticeship is a real job where you learn, gain experience and get paid. You’re an employee with a contract of employment and holiday leave. By the end of an apprenticeship, you'll have the right skills and knowledge needed for your chosen career.

It can take between 1 and 6 years to complete an apprenticeship depending on which one you choose, what level it is and your previous experience. It’s funded from contributions made by the government and your employer.

With our Aptem cloud based system, as an employer you will have access to view and monitor your Apprentice's learning journey. You will be given credentials by Football Family which allows you to log in and see when you need to sign reviews for your employee, as well as their learning plan which will be regular updated when work has been completed and marked by our tutors. This allows you to easily help and guide your employee, ensuring that they stay on track.
